Individual pension registration system to be established

An individual registration system of the employed will be established in a bid to enhance provision of public pensions, acting chairman of the State Social Security Fund Zakir Babayev has told journalists.

According to him, the new system aims to coordinate compulsory state social insurance payments with pensions and envisions the provision of necessary data on pensions for the employed in prospect.

Cooperating with the European Union Tacis program, the fund has established initial pilot branches in Narimanov district of Baku and Ali-Bayramli province, with the new system already applied.*
