Azercell increasing number of its stations
Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator, Azercell, continues making effort to expand the scope of its coverage and quality of mobile communication.
Azercell Telecom LLC praised the results achieved in August, saying it had installed 20 new radio base stations for subscribers. Six of the stations are located in the capital Baku, one in Absheron, while the rest are located in Astara, Imyshly, Lerik, Gabala, Gobustan, Guba, Terter, Tovuz, Ujar and Zagatala districts.
Azercell has installed a total of two Home Location Registers, 15 Base Stations Controller Systems, 16 Mobile Services Switching Centers and 1,473 radio base stations.
The increased number of Azercell’s base stations provides its users with high-quality cellular communication services across the country.*
