In order to promote the implementation of more effective up-to-date and appropriate English language teaching in the classrooms of Azerbaijan it was decided to focus on the development of In-service Teacher Training (INSETT).
The course will cover up-to-date materials, interactive classroom techniques and an overview of the new English language curriculum.
The course will be long term lasting almost two years. There will be 4 seminars more - in January 2004, March 2004, August 2004, and November 2004.
The seminars will be organized under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the British Council and the Ministry of Education.*
